What is Maker’s Night?

LIQUID CITY: Maker’s Night 2023 is a celebration of the Food and Beverage Industry and a big welcome party for all of the cheesemakers visiting San Diego for LIQUID CITY: Cheese Expo Weekend 2023.  This is an evening for everyone to network, learn, and have a good time.

This evening will feature a curated selection of AleSmith Beer by owner and brewer Peter Zien to benefit our Charity Partner ANVIL OF HOPE.

While San Diego is world-renowned as a BEER CITY, we are highlighting other liquids such as wineries, distilleries, coffee roasters, craft cocktail producers, and many more.

The focal point of the evening is an intimate trade show and networking salon, where vendors will showcase their brands with an opportunity to engage local buyers, retailers, distributors, restaurant groups, etc.

YOU ARE INVITED!

More about our charity partner, Anvil of Hope

“Anvil of Hope is the non-profit brainchild of AleSmith Brewing Company’s owners, Peter and Vicky Zien, who are deeply committed to strengthening our community.  The Anvil of Hope’s vision is to break the cycle of poverty to ensure that EVERYONE has the opportunity to thrive and prosper.  We provide mentoring/training/youth enrichment programs to at-risk school children with the goal of keeping them safely engaged in school while developing a desire to pursue education/training beyond high school.  We also provide a holistic approach to helping families succeed either through career counseling and job/skills training/parental skills training, or financial assistance, which provides a solid foundation for children.”
